Chiropractic is a safe, effective, drug-free method of healthcare. Chiropractic treatment focuses on the well-being of the body's nervous system by removing vertberal subluxations (spinal distortioin or misalignment). It's goal is to remove interference so that the body's own healing power can restore health. Chiropractors commonly treat headaches, back pain, pinched nerves, strains, sprains, and spinal disc problems. Chiropractic care is also effective for asthma, allergies, childhood ear infections and other conditions. A regular visit to a chiropractor may include spinal adjustments (gentle manipulation of the spine to increase range of motion in the joints), ice or heat application, traction and recommendation for effective exercise and proper nutrition.
